Sustainable Sourcing
Industries are under pressure to minimize their carbon footprint, water intake and pollution to deliver more affordable and environmental goods to their demanding customers.
Current production systems are based on a “take, make, waste” model: that is basically transforming resources to products and waste in the cheapest and fastest way. Instead, a shift toward a more circular economy will transform businesses to sustainability, eliminating waste and emissions, reusing goods and resources, and regenerating natural systems.
The traceability of the supply chain and its impact on customers making better, healthier purchasing choices are the key parts of today’s circular economy.
Responsible Sourcing
Sustainable food systems require sustainably produced ingredients. That starts with responsible sourcing, which in turn needs traceability. We are keen on making this information transparent to you, not only where our ingredients come from, but how they are produced and the impact they have on the environment.
Traceability
Our chain of manufacturers for each product group work with similar values exhibiting maximum transparency. We map supply chain to know exactly where raw materials come from, all the way back to their farm, plantation or other place of origin.
Our Focus-Supplier engagement
Our commitment is to provide the deep engagement with suppliers that is needed for responsible sourcing.
We ensure that all of our suppliers follow the criteria of the specifications we set, and we monitor compliance through a rigorous assessment program performed by independent experts. We collaborate with vendors to develop and implement action plans to plug holes when they are discovered. Finally, to confidently deliver the goods that consumers purchase with their sustainability commitments.
