Turkey is the world’s greatest producer of organic dried apricots, with the Malatya region producing the majority of the crop. Apricots are one of the most popular and well-known dried fruits in the world, with a juicy and chewy texture. Natural Dried Apricots are dark brown in hue and dry in the sun. These dried apricots are more flavorful and sweeter than sulphured apricots, but they are less durable due to the lack of chemicals (mostly sulphur) during manufacture.
